I'm not denying it, but it is a view formed through government controlled media, called propaganda. Is there a free press in an Arab country, oh yes, one in Lebanon.

Afraid not, show me where the American view is presented as a counterpoint to a "dominant Arab view" in any Arab newspaper, and I'll show you a hundred U.S. papers that present the Arab side. Show me one editorial in an arab newspaper that was critical of the Saudi government's newspaper notion that Jews eat gentiles, lol, you won't. Say Arabs eat persians during ramadan in any U.S. newspaper and you'd be laughed at in every other newspaper from here to ... wherever.

Give it up on PA oppression, if PA leaders refuse to negotiate, as they did in 2000, and pursue terror tactics instead, what else would you want Israel to do. PA leadership was presented with a real deal in 2000, they took a pass and pursued violence. The PA people have their own leaders to thank for their current situation. Oh, but I wonder how many arab papers discuss how the PA passed up on a negotiated settlement, prefering the path of violence. zilch. |
