Batteries in the display area. I already spent 1 and half hours on this post this morning lost it to some unknown glitch. I gave up and when to lunch. I am back to try again this time I make at least two posts. The first point about Springboro plant opening. I was told construction started in October, 2002. Completion of building date April,2003. Machines transfer over from Kettering by November 2003 to be in full production then. Machines from Kettering are already brought over and construction is going on very well. The new "Focus" in batteries is on the stationary batteries. The possible GM 20004 hybrids cars are fine. Same with the 42-36 volts batteries for the new models coming out. ECD is ready for them. The home Security market is here and now. The market for uninterruptable Power Supply In telecommunication, hospitals and police and fire departments. Is here now. I have been in a few electric power plants all the ones i been in had stand by battery rooms filled with batteries to keep power until plants electric load can be supported while switched to main electrical grid in case of emergency. The trains in this country go from state to state each state each could have different air pollution laws. The fuel saving alone could be as much as 30% because of regeneration braking on the trains and lower air pollution. Make ECD battery answer a attractive answer. (I was told.) I brought up the military liking the stealth capability of hybrid systems. The low heat and quite running of military vehicles in combat zones. I said the 30 month contract with military will end in December,2003. The winner of battery hybrid truck competition will get a contract for supplying 30,000 military trucks. ECD said I didn't get name. Words to effect I was well informed. The other project is batteries with fuel cell vehicles being tested. Oh I almost forgot the big reason the military likes the fuel cost savings as the ECD spokes person reminded me.(going for post Two.) Allen
