Petz, actually, if Intel wanted to look good, a WinRAR running in the background while an office app ran in the foreground would really make the P4 shine. I still don't understand the WinRAR results, though. I did some benchmarks on gzip a while back and never saw this kind of pattern (extreme memory bandwidth dependence). -fyo
