Typically 7-10 Trading days.
Look for news (made up if need be) on the Wed-Friday before expiry week. The closer we are, the later the move.

I did not expect a pin this month. I expected a tag and drop. That foolish expectation cost me a lot of $. I should have covered on that dip this AM. ng

Got caught up in the swoon I guess, because yesterday I laid out the case that the most likley action for today was a pin. Usually if there is a turn expiry week it has happened by Wed or Thursday at the latest and if not then Friday is "fine Tuning". IBM was tuned quite fine I might add.
