I'm starting to notice a lot of firms re-evaluating old projects, such as Placer (Donlin/Getchell/Pueblo Viejo) and Anglogold, along with others moving projects toward production. PDG: forbes.com AU: news24.com Private placements are getting very significant. geoshares.com Finally, a few firms are starting to be miners (again in some cases) biz.yahoo.com Anyway, I mention this because it reminds me of 1993, when after we got up about $375 the promotions slowly began. We had a nice few years after that ! Gold did not move much, but we had lots of area plays and miners with good tales to tell. We are moving into the place where instead of buying almost anything (like one could do in late 2000) and making money that those of us who know how to do serious analysis and pick out the winners are going to earn our profits.
