misheldo, Mythman pointed to me your post.

I would not adventure at this time in any long term position in those bonds for the simple reason that we are faced with substantial volatility ahead, due to Iraq , and no one knows for sure the direction.

Those bonds are difficult to hedge and they are presently a gamble IMHO. Most of the currency gains were made last year and IMHO inflation is about to start moving within few months, not a great environment for bonds.

On the other side I am more bullish on stocks than bonds as the situation in the ME will be resolved and the Kondratief (spl?)winter will start to taw ....... but that are just my 2 cents....... it will not happen now but I do anticipate a pick up by this summer.

In summary it is a bit to late for those bonds
