Yes & no, but not to the extreme, he was first the person who could beat that simplistic, worthless,communist loving,environmental extremist,socialist, liberal, Stealing, corrupt,lying,M.F., Gore. Sure I voted for him, but mostly because I'd have rather had most anything which was even mildly slightly honest & had ever read the Bill of Rights EXCEPT Gore!
Since he's been in office, I'd give President Bush a grade of a high "C" or low "B" if pushed into having to rate him. Bush has been stuck between a rock & a had spot. He's been up against a terrible economy, in the largest part due to the bubble created by Clinton / Wall Street / AG, to a lesser because of 9-11, & lastly because when the Senate was run by the Democrats - they made needed tax cuts a political football.
A vote for the person I most wanted as President would have been a wasted vote. |
