Laz--rather than disputing, on somewhat of a petty scale, the numbers of those who attended the recent peace rallies, why don't you accept the simple fact that millions marched for peace around the world. Could you do this?
And in support of my obvious conclusion--to prove that more marched rather than fewer marched--please publish on this thread four opinion polls: a) a European (East and West) poll; b) a Middle Eastern poll; an Asian poll; and, d) a North American poll. Were you to realistically undertake such a venture you'd soon realize, and help convince those on your side of the argument, that the vast majority of people were not only marching on the street, but also with their hearts from their homes.
Indeed, you've made much about World War II and Pearl Harbor, etc. However the principle part you leave out is that the world, then, overwhelmingly, backed America entering that war. And you've got to both sincerely and truthfully admit--especially if you have the courage to print on this thread the four aforementioned polls--that the war on Iraq has no such opinion, today, to support America moving forward with military action, as it did when it entered World War II. Perhaps you should change your stance?
Am I correct, sir? |
