Hi bill and George, and a handbag,
Yeah I was asleep at the wheel on that one. Fortunately someone on stockhouse pointed me in the right direction. I had more than tripled up on PWI in the last while, all buys 25.76 or less though. Anyway I went back to my much lower core position today and have a consequently much lower ACB again BUT NOT THAT LOW !! :o) I won't sell for under a buck ! LOL..

Bought some AET for the dividend to replace some that which I will miss from PWI. It is trading around it's recent PP price of 11.50, down a bit from last month. Theory there I guess is that it may not dip much or for long when it's ex dividend. I didn't want to be in PWI heavy at the higher ACB on Monday either. I'm still considering Vermillion and energyplay mentioned one of Peter's favourites Pengrowth which doesn't look bad here either. I guess I could always buy some more gold..

I wasn't tempted by AE since I have a boatload and ACB under 4 still (just). I didn't see it coming down to 3.90 and I got enough 4.00 - 4.05's recently. The dividend seems reasonable to me at these levels.

On a.hanbag's note re: Rod Carrick and trusts being more mainstream, I don't know if I like that thought. I kinda like hiding out in the 'secret garden'... ;o)

regards
Kastel
