Yes, the French have really gone too far. Dissent
is one thing but sabotage is another. They have tried to derail our policies from the beginning. Their contemptuous
and arrogant attack on eastern European nations was downright shameful.

I can already sense their argument for mending relations which will essentially heap the whole of responsibility on US. As if, we overreact, we shouldn't be so sensitive,friends have a duty
to disagree from time to time. I dont think it will work.
There has been quite a bit of damage to France with US
and most of the rest of Europe.

France's economy is
weak, social structures strained. I think Europe( and the rest of the world) is in
for some dynamic events in the coming years. The strong will
survive.
