That is, indeed, hilarious news. Variations of it have been going around the web for nearly as many years as REFR has lost money. "...the SEC is expected to present proposals...among them could be..." Magically, that turns into, "appears the SEC is prepared to...", accompanied with a string of awful things — "counterfeiting", "target for destruction", "day of reckoning", and hey, why not throw in "Seven Plagues of Egypt". Interesting stuff for someone who's worked in securities law, eh?
