In order to benefit from it, members need to actively participate, meaning they need to share their predictions.

I see your POV, but if someone doesn't want to give a prediction but really wants to see the survey results
A rule as silly as that might just
provoke someone into posting a really off base prediction.
Like say CSCO price target: One might out of spit enter $0.01 or $300.

Also, after reading through this thread, it appears to me your main intention is to profit off the SI membership- whether it be by collecting information on them or by soliciting them with spam via email*
Truthfully, do you have any interests in providing any value to the membership?
Perhaps the last question should be more directed to John.
This just doesn't sound like a new feature.
On all angles it looks like another way of SI trying to exploit its membership.

P.S. John, you want to get a "kudos" from the SI members?

I haven't gone to the registration page to see what you say about our privacy or what you intend to do with any info you may gather.
Perhaps someone who has signed up might chime in and let me know if they've been spammed.
