The changing newspaper opinion on the advisability of going to war perhaps may be linked with views of many experts on Bush's mental health.

For example, a person who works both as a professional dealing with alcoholism and as a church pastor expressed the view that Bush's actions and attitudes are exactly what one would expect from a person who's been an alcoholic and has gone dry. It's an important opinion because it suggests that Bush's push toward war may not be entirely rational.
