26 billion is a TON of money. Dont defend that hand-out to one medium sized country. Much of that $$ will go into corrupt officials' Swiss bank accounts. OUR money. How can an honest conservative defend that? North Korea is a different matter. You pay them to disarm them and gradually infiltrate them like we did originally in China because you have no military option except losing 300,000 US and SK lives. Instead of stone-walling NK and calling them "evil" you "keep your friends close and enemies closer". That approach has kept NK contained up until Bush came into power. Now Bush has alienated both friends and enemies. Most of the world hates Bush, even if they love America. That is extremely costly.
