It'll be interesting to see what, if any effect, the announcement
has on the stock price. I've had concerns about PWI.Un for
some time, sold and bought AVN.UN and AE.UN. The cash
flow, as opposed to profit, may be enough to sustain them
until they benefit from the increased price of NG. Their
immediate costs, though, are high. Since some are one time
costs, once they're past that they'll probably be fine.
However, I am, to my chagrin, still holding PGF.UN. At
the current price is pays a good distribution but I'm
under water about 5.00 a share. I'll need a lot of distributons to make up for that. I'm always nervous
about consolidations. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they
don't. When they don't, the price drop can be painful.

I'll be watching Mon, T, Wed to see what happens. The
effects of these announcements seem to have a three day
life. Anything under a dollar a share seems like a good
buy (LOL). Since PWI.UN is held by trusts of trusts and
some other large buyers, unless they decide to unload, the
price drop, if it comes, may be on relatively insignificant
volume as small retail holders dump their shares. If that
happens, it will be a good buying opportunity. Would that
be enough to drive PWI.UN down to the price range of PGF.UN?
I have no idea. If I had cash, I'd be keeping close watch
for a buying opportunity. However, I'm tapped out buying
AVN.UN and AE.UN.
