Que, in a market where existing capital is ground down and new buyers scarce, the bear case for all equities, including energy related equities is clear.

I think the commodity based equities can fight this, as gold equities have (although they are not performing as well as they would in a bull), but I have no illusions about how difficult a sustained bull market in energy stocks will be.

All in all, however, we're going to have a good Spring. Post Iraq may be a time to take profits, we'll just have to see what shakes out.
