Tribalism and Wahhabism will hinder the spread, IMO.

I was mainly referring to gaining political and economic influence in Iraq by Saudi Arabia... Mainly as a means of blocking US aims against them down the road...

I believe the Saudis need to be isolated as much as possible.. treated as a Pariah society which needs to modernize, moderate, and integrate.. The royal family puts on a fine charade in trying to make us believe they are a moderate non-aggressive state, but beneath the surface of their society, their religous clerics are formenting militancy and anti-western sentiments that ultimately led to 9/11.

The Saudis must deal with these elements, and they must remain isolated, and their militancy contained until we see the necessary social changes.
