yes... you are right. however remember that we trusted these CEO's because their function is... to build trust and goodwill for their companies and yes... we fell asleep listening to their lullaby... no question... But then again... do we want an SEC that "regulates everyone to death" ? Hopefully Capitalism will do its function now... and that probably means a lower US Dollar for a while... and in the process make us all better investors... history does repeat itself
