The Focus on Saddam is over stated by the News and
Bush..the problem is deeper than that, surly you've
heard of the Baath Party..Well It's not what it's name
indicates..is more of a secret society than
even the KKK, if fact it's sort of like the Arab version
of the KKK, except it has a lot more power than the
KKK, and it's permeated in just about all the Arab Countries. It was the Baath party who put Saddam
in power and you can bet they have a replacement in the
wings if he gets to hot to handle ( or gets killed )
Getting Saddam out of power will not change things
near as much as Bush or the news media want you to think.
Like the Taliban the Baath Party has very strong religious
leanings but some what more moderate. Their not close to
being a political party in the sense that we have Republicans
and Democrats, so the party part on the end is miss-leading.
I could go on and on , but I just wanted to say, things
over there are a lot more complex than meets the
Eye, and "Saddam is more or less just a symptom of the
sickness" & we need to do more than just get rid of the
symptom. A fix won't be easy or short , if it looks that
way we are kidding ourself.

As for Oil Price hell I hope your right, I would settle
for half of the drop you predict..$25 would look good
to me..under $18 for very long and we could blow away
the old highs.
The cost of energy has more to do with growth than
low interest rates or Tax breaks and other gimmicks.
It's the cost of energy that is master to our fate.
