Rocky, I'm also a devoted lurker, and thank you for your good work.
In my own account I haven't done anything in cv bonds with the exception of the Elan puttable zeroes. I do have a fair amount invested in utility cv preferreds, tho. Liquidity there is better than it is for the bonds, in my experience.
What I find interesting is how prices have moved well before the brokerage analysts - or the financial press - have readjusted their evaluations. Elan remains on the pariah list among U.S. analysts, but the zeroes have gone from the mid 20's to the mid 50's.
I guess analysts don't listen to what the market is trying to tell them.
