I agree with you but you have to admit the french have divided the opposition with their leadership. People don't like the french... WWII veterans were opposed to this war but the french and their vocal stance pushed them over the edge and now that opposition doesn't exist. The british I am sure feel the same apprehension towards the french in war matters as the US - only exaggerated. The french have done nothing but add to the pro-war sentiment.
