19er- He's a Canadian and a lefty....how cool is that!? ... and the $800,000 he won is in US funds!!! that is way too cool! i missed it unfortunately - i went shopping <g> which was pretty cool too. my mom told me all about it when i got home - blow by blow description. too muching fuch, eh? soooo, no racing tonight. i guess monday in new zealand, means monday in north america. nothing to detract me from the grammys - except the vancouver canucks are playing tonight and they are on a 12 game winning streak. that might cause a bit of a distraction for me. did you have a nice day? it was fantastic here. going into town today, the mountains were awesome. we don't always see them because of cloud cover - but no clouds today and they stretched with their snow covered peaks from points west on vancouver island, all the way around the north and east down to the south where mount baker in washington was absolutely majestic. i shoulda had my camera cause it filled me up (as van morrison would say). today was the 'proper ting' rhoze00
