In the 80's we may have needed supply side cuts, now we need the opposite, demand side cuts. Demand side is the Democratic proposal. Bush's supply side cuts, and cuts for the very rich have just ballooned deficits and not stimulated our economy one bit. But he will never see that. He has a one-track mind and wont change it. But will Bush finally rescend his tax cuts when he realizes "trillion dollar deficit" doesn't sound good on the campaign trail? Maybe. After all getting re-elected is more important than anything.
