Kyocera 7135 user report:

All -

In mid January, I purchased a 7135 from getconnected.com (had it shipped to to Florida, and Alltel service area, and then sent to me in New Hampshire). I was able to activate it on Verizons network, and I have been using it for over a month. I am able to send/receive E-Mail (w/out changing my publisehed E-Mail address), Hold Conference Calls over the built in speaker phone, use a full handsfree voice activation w/ a headset, listen to MP3's, attach the phone to any computer w/ the USB connector and get that computer on line at speeds of 160 kbps, use the palm application for note taking while on calls, use the voice memos, download games and software to keep my kids busy at restaurants (though I have curtailed this practice), send phones numbers and e-mail addresses directly to my palm application from the Call List or E-Mail in box, I have hundreds of photos of my family in the picture application, I carry Excel Spreadsheets and word documents synced w/ my computer (not all, but everything for my current projects), I regularly use the express net feature to read my local paper, other news, this forum, stock quotes, movies, weather, etc (mostly w/ the touch of one icon trough palm.net, and although I have not yet used it, the phone has a book reader installed as well.

I used to carry a small laptop w/ me everywhere i went, but naturally, this is no longer necessary.

The phone is the IDENTICLE size as the "Q" Phone.

I'm a big productivity (and hence, technology) nut. The productivity and efficiency gain that this device has delivered in the last 6 weeks is equal to the one I received when I bought my first portable wireless handset, and equal to the one I received when I bought my first Palm Pilot - truly an enormous gain.

And one of the best parts is that everything I do all day long is backed up everynight throught the touch of one button when I syncronize my data.
