GO* - habmus Samsung I-330. Now for Pt 2. Part 2 is to get the phone hooked up and our thin phone swtiched off.

Yesterday Sprint was having an upgrade. Now I'm on hold and it says a ten minute wait. Burt we are determined customers and will not be put off no matter what Sprint throws in our way.

Tired the phones in the store except the I330 which was faulty but we bought it anyway on the assumption that it mst work....right.

The ordinay handsets look to me to be slow but the Handspring is fast,,,I would say very fast. My guess is that the PDA types are gonig to be faster.

The deal was that if you were a new sign then you got $100 discount, But I told them we were loyal old customers what do we get. They said ...nothing. Anyway as it looked obvious that we were going to buy so they had a huddle and said they were going to offer us the discount anyway.

Lokks like htere is another $100 in it.

Anyway the preices are way too high. PDAs should be sub $300 and clamshells should be no more than $250. I don't give hoot how good the clamshell screens mihgt be.

Price is it and people are not imho goning to be running into the stores to but hnadsprings and Samsung PDA types at over $500 when you can buy an entire PC, printer, speakers etc for that money.

Anyway the I 330 is gorgeous. If only we can get it hooked up.

I'll put this over on the QCOM thread,

Best,

L
