WASHINGTON, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Commerce Department quarterly
report on retail e-commerce sales, unadjusted.

NOTES:
E-commerce sales include sales of goods and services over
the Internet, an extranet, Electronic Data Exchange or other
online system.
The report is based on a selected survey sampling group of
approximately 11,000 retailers.
Online travel services, financial brokers and dealers and
ticket sales agencies are not classified by the government as
retail and are not included in either the total retail or
retail e-commerce sales estimates.
The retail e-commerce sales estimate for the first quarter
is scheduled for release in May 2003.
