B, Agree with all points. My three year old son can count to ten in spanish. I have full intention of him being bi-lingual if not tri-lingual when he is done with his education. He will also experience the world first hand, as I have done. In almost every country I have been in, I have run into people who believe that, since I live in Los Angeles, I must live a Baywatch style of life. I swear to god, one of the first questions that I was always asked was if I surf before I go to work. This was in France, in Malaysia, Germany, Hong Kong....the international community's ignorance about the U.S. was truly scary to me at times. Especially since it all seemed to be geared toward profiling me as an uptight, airheaded, power hungry, baby killing, surfer.
The fact is, I'm a skier |
