Yup, Americans are doofuses. Rubes. Ignorant. Unwashed. Boorish. <Add a few more words of your choice here>

This dumbass five percent of the world population has also invented way more than the other 95 percent ever did, was responsible to a huge extent for a doubling of the average human lifespan in the past 150 years, and somehow manages to achieve economic growth that the smarter 95 percent would just drool over.

Oh, and BTW, while the refined Europeans were discussing Kaiser Wilhelm in their parlors, we were busy inventing the airplane and mass production. Then we came over and swept him away when he became too irritating.

When Hitler rebuilt his military, tongues wagged and Europeans did nothing. When he started gassing Jews and gypsies it was too late, and guess who led the invading forces to get rid of him? (Oops, that was a mistake, war is always wrong. Silly stoopid American me, I keep forgetting that.)

Numerous studies indeed have shown that Americans are more "ignorant" of certain facts about "the rest of the world" than other educated societies. Trouble is, when they are in trouble, why do they always turn to the stoopid Americans?
