O.T.

Send us some good weather!

Is it still raining in TX ? Maybe you should come and spend sometime in sunny FL. (As I keep getting older I keep appreciating more my decision of moving from Chicago more than 30 yrs. ago.<g>)

<<Don't invest in a biotech unless they at least have a drug into Phase III...>>

That's true to some extent, but it has the risk of final results,FDA decisions and approval. (Look at LJPC last week and a few others on recent past.<g>)

ICOS has Cialis already approved for ED in EU, Australia & New Zealand, with a good chance of having FDA approval and is in Bill's portfolio.<g> (It is also on the list of companies that the NAZ's new site will provide access to additional information for institutional investors.)

MDCO's Angiomax is already available in pharmacies and the sales jumped about 56% sequentially last quarter.

MDCO had the results of the Replace-2 trial published in JAMA this week. (The trial showed that Angiomax combined with intravenous platelet blockers such as MLNM's Integrilin or LLY's Reopro, was superior in terms of safety and efficacy to heparin and Angiomax would cost $400 less per patient, compared with heparin.)

BIOM Is expected to have data on its Pase III of Theratope for breast Ca available sometime after the start of the Irak war (weeks rather than months.<g>)and is having a "presentation" at the fifth annual BIO's Conference at the Waldorf on Wednesday. (That is probably a negative according to Rick's comments, but the stock has been up more than 15% today.)(Only 14.55% right now.<g>)

How about instead of <<"Don't invest in a biotech unless they at least have a drug into Phase III...">> Don't invest on a stock unless it is on an UPTREND. <g> And also "Don't invest when stocks are out of Season".<g> (It is always important to try to determine wether we are trading on a "Bull" or "Bear" market.<g>)
