I happen to agree with you. And I also hope that things are going to work out for the best. I am just not willing to accept that clapping my hands and thinking happy thoughts is going to help things work out. The default course of action appears to be a path where Bush and his entourage make increasingly extreme and bizzare demands on the people of the U.S., the allies we had, and those who distrust this country. By all accounts this is a religious mission with no rational goal, and therefore not subject to rational checks. To me this indicates that now is not a safe time to just kick back and accept the default course of action. TP
