>Optimism at a low: Warburg
Meanwhile, the latest survey by UBS Warburg found that overall investor optimism fell to an all-time low in February as investors expressed heightened concerns about the state of the nation's economy and the effects of a possible war with Iraq.

The monthly survey found that 56 percent of investors believe there will be a negative effect on the nation's economy if the U.S. invades Iraq.

According to the study, just 35 percent of investors are optimistic about the prospects for economic growth over the next 12 months, the lowest level in the survey's history, and down from 42 percent in January. <
