Things have been too quiet around here for a couple of Hours. Might as well rile the natives.

Re: China

IMO China has for the most part kept its nose out of everyones business in the globe in the past many years and attended to their knitting. They don't appear to be looking to expand beyond what they perceive as historical borders. Now, it would seem to me that GWB made the old Axis of Evil speech and pissed off (scared) NK bigtime. We know how NK re-acted. The Excited States of America is now very edgy and runs to China to resolve the problem. As is customary, China keeps its nose out and says "solve your own mess". In my opinion China should not get suckered into the global mess. They would make one move and they would be in all arenas up to their ears. Nope...I'd say they are playing it right. As the next superpower they are indicating that they might be responsible stewards of the world.
