<< What is a bull market? I've seem to have forgotten what one looks like.>>

Yes, it seems it has been sometime since we have been under the influence or impact of the bear.<g>

But as Jesse used to say,"Nobody should be puzzled as to wether the market is a bull or a bear after it fairly starts."<g>

And it is very important to know what kind of market one is trading on.<g> They say that "what is more important is not how much money you make with the bull, but how much you are still keeping after the bear goes".<g>

Many people keep a close track of the A/D ratio or the A/D volume ratio, others pay more attention to the TRIN,which is the result of the division of the 1st ratio by the second.<g> (The first two ratios are considered bullish if above 1 whereas the TRIN is bullish if below 1 <g>)

I try to simplify things and keep a close look at the trend of the DOW industrials, the NAZ and the S&P.<g> (People that follow the DOW Theory keep also track of the Transportation and Utility averages.<g>)

To me the following charts live not too much doubt about which kind of market we are still in.<g>
