Did you think I was kicking back? I'm not sure I understand how you mean the phrase in this context. At times like this, when there is a lot of tension, there is a tendancy to just want it over with. I have a brother in the gulf right now, civilian duty, and he sends me tough texan talk and french jokes. I cut him slack because I know where his pressures lie. It's not easy to have the people I know, much less those I don't, split along these lines. I haven't seen such a split for 30 years. Still, when the tension is the thickest it is more important than ever to think with your head over your heart. If Bush does something foolish, and I think he will, then I am going to cross my fingers 'till they ache that the Americans do well and exit this experience safely, but I plan to hold those responsible for the beginning of this adventure also responsible for the end. In the mean time I am going to try as hard as possible to prevent what seems to be the greatest moral tragedy of our lifetime. TP TP
