we're going to have a huge budget shortfall due to paying off cronies with ridiculous tax breaks It's Bush insanity to think that this war will distract from budget shortfalls for long. The bribes to Turkey and Egypt alone will add huge sums to that shortfall, and the war will double the deficit. All of the accounting will be due about election time. Can you imagine the scale of the distraction that will be necessary then? TP
