"What would you have done differently , studied ,changed if you could have ?"
I'd better be careful here, gramma may see this (:-)
Looking back, I hope I'd have been less concerned with what I thought would make me happy and more concerned with the happiness of others. Sounds trite doesn't it? But true none the less.
More specific than that, I'm not going to be.
"Today" tho, my honest wish is that the grandkids realize the Love of our Lord, and that a word or two of mine, may encourage some friend to take a second look at their unbelief.
A pretty Great Lord isn't He -- gives us Love we don't deserve, a free choice of what to believe, and the opportunity to live, love, and care for those we love. The decision as to what we think is important enough to teach our young ones is up to us. Just hope my guiding doesn't include too many serious shortcommings.
After all, if I'm wrong about the literacy of the Bible and the Lords love, I'll just go into darkness -- if I'm right and I fail to encourage that Love in them and they exit this life not having been told of that Love, I let them spend an awful lot of "afterlife" separated from Him ---- and me
:-(
A thought I don't want forever and forever and forever. |
