Do you remember the last gulf war? (Bush Seniors time)
As soon as U.S. started to hit Iraq, the oil price plummeted...
(I KNEW U.S. will hit Iraq, and was long on oil into the count down. I was way ahead, then got greedy thinking oil price will continue to go up after war start, but lo and be hold, as soon as US bombing started, the oil price went way down. Lost all my bet...)

It may not be the same this time, but I don't see the oil price go up any higher whether or not U.S. starts a war against Iraq.
