Anyone care to venture a guess as to when the dollar/yuan peg may no longer be beneficial to the Chinese economy? Although a weak yuan does much for Chinese exports it has the reverse affect on their imports. I had read a interesting article to that affect a few months ago in the Asian Times but can no longer find it. I would think a break in that peg and the rise in the yuan that would follow would do much for the Japanese markets and is the reason I brought it up on this thread. I'd appreciate any comments.
