A comment on the Innovacom/Mitsubishi deal. Innovacom signed the deal with Mitsubishi Chemical, which presumably makes the dyes and other materials for DVD-R. One thing to remember about the huge conglomerates is that Mitsubishi Chemical is different from Mitsubishi Electric, which is different from Mitsubishi Semiconductor. A deal with Mitsubishi Chemical isn't nearly exciting as one with Mitsubishi Electric. Yawn.
