TOM INvestor Relations # 212-840-8888 ask for Investor Relations (Kathleen). I have a message into her. The drop today came during the conference call so there must be an association. Kathleen's assistant told me that TOM's growth was strong in all areas and that traditionally, 2Q and 3Q are their strongest periods. We are in 2Q right now it ends Sept. 30. So the fact is that in their slowest part of the season, TOM beat the number by over 10% and the stock went down. Same thing happened to CREAF. buy on the rumor sell on the news??? who knows. TOM's p/e lags behind that of competitors NAUT and GUC and yet, TOM is a far superior brand. Why the lag - don't know. My guess is that as we approach next Q. this baby is going to skyrocket. In the meantime, the only explanations I can come up with is that some information undisclosed in the conference call scared some institutions, profit taking, or simply MM.
