Well, you're being nice. I think it takes less than that to make them look unbalanced. ;^)

The irony about screaming McCarthyism is that McCarthy, who apparently was a loathsome person, happened to be completely right, that the Kremlin had agents in the US government. It all came out after the fall of the Evil Empire. McCarthy was right.

The Rosenbergs were guilty.

Alger Hiss was guilty.

Some of Roosevelt's top advisors were Kremlin agents.

Surprise, surprise, surprise!

But don't expect any apologies from the indignant Communist sympathizers. The only one worth a bucket of warm spit is Christopher Hitchens, in my book.
