I am in favor of this war because I feel that a Democracy in the region could benefit the world. I know the French have ulterior motives to oppose the war-oil & economic interests. Do you think we are so innocent? Do you think oil is not a factor for us? Do you realize that we provided the Iraqis with many of their WMDs? Whatever the French motives, they are a Democracy & have the right to oppose us. They are opposing us in the UN which was set up so that countries could debate. Americans fought & died so that the French could express their opinions without fear. I am defending the French(although I disagree with them)because they are a free Democracy & Democracies are built to accept opposing viewpoints. Again, the countries we should be bashing are the dictatorships of the Arab world that our leadership regards as our friends: SAUDI-ARABIA is SKUM. Your anger is misdirected. Germany, France, Russia are all opposed to this war Germany & France are organizing the opposition. Do you think we should cut ties with 2 of our biggest trading partners?
