"Shorted shares don't move the stock price by their actual sale since they are borrowed from people that own margined shares. The days to come should tell the tale........ " ...I'm not sure this is always correct, Doctor, but I must admit I'm not completely sure either. I think people who own the shares outright (not on margin) can also loan out their shares to shorts...I sure don't see why not. Maybe someone else out there knows for certain. -Roger
