Why do you feel that it is ok to go to war with North Korea where innocent people may be killed but it is somehow in your mind not ok to stop sadam . Do you think that innocent Koreans are less valuable that innocent arabs.? And besides IMO sadam is a much greater threat to the USA and the free world than North Korea.

Obviously, the United States has to do whatever it can do to defend it's borders. Including, doing everything we can to make our economy energy efficient, to lessen our dependence on ME oil, IMO. I think North Korea can be handled in a diplomatic way. They were being contained (brought off) by the Clinton Administration. For some strange reason, Bush abandoned that policy of diplomatic containment?!? Yes, we should go after Saddam, if it is proven that he has indeed been developing WMD. Not necessarily in a military way, but at least by keeping the inspections pressure on him and trying to find a diplomatic solution to the problem. I don't think there will be a war anyway. Saddam will negotiate a settlement or will go into exile or something along those lines, IMO. Even if there is a war, it won't last long. The U.S. has overwhelming military might.

There are plenty of other players out there that we should be concerned about when it comes to WMD: N. Korea, South Africa, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, etc. Why is Saddam priority #1 right now? Could it have something to do with OIL?
