HPQ: I'm a long time holder of that stock (worked there for 20 yrs) and am surprised by the extent of the sell-off today. When they were battling over the merger, many didn't think it was possible to merge two large companies and make a profitable PC company. Well, they turned a profit on the PC business and now Laura Conig' is picking nits and downgrades it to MKT PERFORM and it sells off 10%. A tech stock making money with a p/e below 20, growing income and paying a dividend above money rates and people sell it... amazing. I did some of my annual diversification selling when it was over $20 and I am tempted to buy those shares back.
