I'm more appalled than you. I think they should abolish them, not merely cut them.

Shania Twain, who comes from Canada, where such is expected told about her days growing up in poverty. She said she would go to school so hungry and when lunch came, she wished someone would share their food with her.

Canada is a quasi-socialist country. It's apples and oranges. Moreover, I wonder how seriously Twain's accounts should be taken, given that she's extremely rich now.

Taking school lunches from these poor children is child abuse.

Making me buy lunch for children that aren't mine is taxpayer abuse.
