I skim-read it but did not see what you might be hinting at. Do you mind being a bit more specific?

Do you not see that there is a link between Iraq and terrorism.

No, and neither did anyone else watching Powell's presentation in the UN Security Council. If you know of something he does not, maybe you should help him out a bit so the next time he won't look like such a clown showing aerial pictures of a camp and claiming it's a "terrorist camp", notwithstanding the fact that it was not in the part of Iraq that Saddam controls but in the north where US & UK supervise.

My example:
Me against my brother...
My brother and I against you...
... was used to demonstrate that the Islamic terrorists dislike the US more than they dislike Iraq and given the choice to attack Iraq or the US, I am sure that they would choose to attack the US

I know exactly what you meant by that phrase.

However, enmity is not an either/or situation. Saddam has not and will not sell chemical weapons to terrorists. I have given you multiple reasons why. One of these reasons is that they don't like him either and he cannot be sure that they will not chunk a few in his direction while continuing the attack on the US. Or that one day they will not give up on the US and concentrate on Iraq.

After all, if terrorists turned Iraqi' weapons against Iraq, don't you think that it would be harder to get more weapons?????

Terrorists did NOT get weapons from Iraq yet they have weapons galore. It is not as if they need Iraq as a source.

One more thing - don't question where I have been and what I have done

Why? Do you have "license to kill"? :-)

The unfortunate paradox this situation puts me in forbids me from removing all doubt.

Didn't mean to ask the exact circumstances of your stay in the Middle East anyway. You have been in a country or two in the Middle East. You are an American who does not speak the languages and you always stick out like a sore thumb with your 2m height or light blond hair or something. Paranoia and sensitivity to resentment is usual under the circumstances.

I just wanted to tell you not to generalize. Americans are not hated everywhere in the ME. Actually what I noticed is that the hate tends to focus where they have intervened in the past.
