Ahem... I beg to differ. Europe, I mean Continental Europe, is not ruled by Judeo-Protestant freaks... Televangelists like Graham, Robertson and Falwell wouldn't make it over here. Hence European public opinion's lukewarm attitude towards Zionism and Likud's fanatical claim over Jerusalem.
Therefore I think what best characterizes Europe vis-a-vis America is the historical prequel of Western Europe vs Byzantium --Roman America vs Byzantine Europe. Remember, although Byzantium lay on the frontline in the battle between Christianity and Islam, it's always been Europe --namely Venice, Genoa, the Pope, the Franks, the Spaniards, etc-- which set off the crusades in Palestine.
Finally, if the American booboisie --and its European counterpart-- has been duped by the official conspiracy theory about 911, that doesn't mean that European intelligence outfits have been too.... The French policymakers still recall very well what happened in France from 1954 to 1962, that is, during Algeria's war of independence... The French still recall the creation of the infamous OAS in 1961... The French have not forgotten the so-called Generals' putsch against President Charles de Gaulle. And so haven't their opposite numbers in Germany, Belgium, etc. In short, French intelligence didn't buy the official spoof on 911, bin Laden and co... They know what Israeli and Russian freaks are capable of... Why did the US rush to Afghanistan just after 911? To chase bin Laden away? To destroy the terrorist bases of Al Qaeda?? ROFL... No, the US just caved in to Russia's blackmail over Afghanistan. The Russkies successfully forced the 800-pound American gorilla into Afghanistan.
Likewise, Israel has followed suit and wants the US to sort out the Middle East's Afghanistan, namely, Iraq and its Palestinian appendage... For domestic reasons, kikey-whipped America can't resist the Israeli spellbinder --Europe can.
