If we'd wanted to steal Iraq's oil, we'd already own it. Our military is capable of conquering a country, any country, within a week. (One day to nuke, six days to let the clouds disperse.) And we don't need thousands of troops to do it that way.

But, of course, any thinking person would know that we do not possess an expansionist or acquisitive doctrine, nor do we wish to inflict harm on humanity. Just the opposite. We are a peaceful nation charged with one of history's most awesome responsibilities, to keep the peace in a world rife with global tensions.

We are in the ME to protect our trading partners and peace.

We are in Europe to protect our trading partners and peace.

We are in Asia to protect our trading partners and peace.

These are the facts whether people like you want to accept them or not.
