You forgot some: Yahoo 1) Can send a press release whenever it wants and they use this right religiously. Hell they put out 4 or 5 shots of worthless dribble every day- a lot more than most real companies. 2) Get a hit/ advertisement every time a "trader" reloads yahoo.quote.com. Of course people hit this button every 3 or 4 seconds. Big traders use this as opposed to a real time stream. Witness Datek and E*Trade Ad. The only site that could generate more ad flashes would be leisure suit larry online or vegas style crank gambling wheel. 3) Yahoo even makes a cut when you enter from yahoo.quote and short them!
